Teletalk, Bangladesh’s state owned mobile network operator, will introduce 4G mobile data service, Tarana Halim, state minister for telecom, revealed this week.
“I know there are lots of problem with Teletalk especially in network segment, and I guaranty you within one year these problems will be resolved,” said Tarana.
Tarana Halim declared a two-year roadmap for the state owned mobile phone operator for network expansion and modernization.
According to the plan, Teletalk will expand their 3G network and will also improve 2G network by this fiscal and it will also establish customer care centers in all the district headquarters across the country.
The operator intends to add 3 million new customers on their network by this fiscal and it also plans to cross 10 million customers landmark by 2017-18.
